Will be interested to trade some thoughts on the game and where it can be won.  of course in private, don't want some coaches learning our trade secrets and then using them and taking all the glory!!

First thing is that I am extremely unorthodox. I know what the rankings are for defence and offence for your team and this will not change my plan. They are purely stats for teams you played against other then the raiders. I simply compare my roster to yours, look at my strengths and play to them.

Also, don't read too much into the stats for the raiders. The gameplan has changed and reflects more what I want to do.

As for the trade secrets, send me a copy of your gameplan and will tell you what you should change.

Hell, I joined this league to cause Norm some pain!  

I'll be putting in a very simple GP this week, and then adding more week on week. With lots of roster moves to make as well I really can't say whether I'll make the playoffs or not. I may not even win a game this season, as the training is bloody awful!  

I do play to win every game though, so whatever my record you can all be sure I'll be giving my best!

Nope. I came to beat Vader! I should have gone over to the AFC to have a few more cracks at him though. I might not get many shots at him from the NFC Central.

vader was a close second. Good that I get to play him twice each year (or bad, will find out soon enough).

No pain no gain Martyn just bring it on! l like your style play to win every game and play for now this season this superbowl not about 5 seasons away. You have just cemented your chances of making the playoffs, l also like the starting with a simple gameplan and building it slowly.


You better all be trying to beat the Titans the superbowl is going through the Titans every year!

We'll see! I noticed a big cock up in my plan, typed a few things in wrong on softsim when doing the full rewrite last time - and I still won convincingly...

Gameplan corrected and a few freshly trained plays added for  this week - bring it Jets!!!

I agree norman, each of my losses has taught me a lesson, don't give up a safety inside 2 mins when ahead (Rams), don't go into a D and chuck it inside 2 mins and ahead (Pack), don't have 5 giveaways! (Wash) if you send the strong corner 30 times to play with PW you will give up a couple of B I G SOs (Boys) if you play for a close game all game and get one, you have to have the stones to win it at the end (KC).

Alex, nice summary of your season to date sounds like you have been unlikey, now go beat the Panthers this week could you imagine the shock waves that would run through the gameplan community.

Well I am putting the final touches on my GP now, no major changes. The Skins shut down my running early on until I adjusted, so I am taking steps for those adjustments to be faster.

My defence has not changed more than a few boxes since week 1 when it was all entered over the last guys one... I can't believe that it seems sound I keep waiting for it to fall apart- this may be the week! Just one line on defence changing for the cats, and only a few of the play calls.

Some tight D, a takeaway here nad there and a bit of luck with a matchup or on special teams and the Eagles could steal it.

If you visualise it and believe it could happen then you are halfway to victory!
The Eagle Defence is hungry and the "Penguin" offence has nothing to do but improve....

As George from Sienfeld used to say "Jerry, if you believe it's true then it is", go get em EAGLES!
