Really looking forward to my second AY game today, and really chuffed I decided to join this league. There was a time when there was lots of league specific chat on Yahoo but no more, I think that is what makes this forum and as a result AY so great. Given that I am in my first NCAA6 Gold Bowl final today against that gameplan great Patrick Lee, it says a lot about AY that I'm more interested to see how my Texans fare against the Jets!

I really feel like I am getting my money's worth these days!
Analysing the games, making predictions, learning from you guys and struggling to grab a win here and there... its great!

Every forum is at its best when its members contribute as you have, stick around and really give it a nice active atmosphere. I have envisioned a gameplan league forum since the idea of rejoining occured to me, I'm so increadibly pleased that setting up this free one with Aceboard was SO quick and easy. It almost makes up for this being a play by mail game (ie the fact that you don't get to see, meet or chat to your oponents).

Come on over to Blighty, we hold fairly regular pub meets and even the odd BBQ. I've met loads of my gameplan opponents, including Mark Gamble, Dex and good old Nick, who was telling everyone how he'd beat me in the BS Super Bowl the following week... Didn't quite go to plan that one, did it Smug...?

this league is pretty awesome and the forum can take a lot of credit for it

but it is the diverse and great contributions and ribbing/rivalry of it's players involved on the forum that push it over the top

Agree, the specific AY stuff makes it special, the active coaches and comments and goodies are all great oh yeah did l mention the cheerleaders.


l only watch rugby league on late night tv in Melbourne for the opening when the players run through the cheerleaders.

Why not double up as their trainer also? That way you would be responsible for taking care of their bodies. Now that would be a job!
