Tom, as borat says "l very excite" about our matchup.
 http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/thumb%20up.gif

Just started looking into the once famous juggernaught which was the Tom Richards Ciny Bengals. l used to be in the dumps about facing a salad tosser offence but now l am ready to rumble in the spear chuckers jungle.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/devil.gif

ln fact l have to really thank Arnie from the Redskins, it was his game that made me re-write the whole thing, we could only handle the spears and not the runners. His game gave me that message load and clear. l have now upgraded the defence to handle anything it runs into, spears or runners. So give it up to Arnie, boyacasha.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/blow%20kiss.gif

l am really enjoying the planning for this game, it really is crunch time for both of us, l'd say the loser is probably out of the wildcard hunt.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/surprised.gif

All the best of luck mate, l hope it's a great match, bring it...

lf you want a live reading over the phone while we run the GPvcon play by play let me know, Greg and l did it, it's a blast.

I used to wait till the morning and get up at 6:00 AM or so, but now the games sometimes come in at 12:30 AM or so in Melbourne. If it's not there by 1:30 I bail and get some zzzzzzs.

I will be a way this week but will be back in time for our game. Don't think I could wait till the next day for a live reading though.

l could not wait until the next day either, but 1am let me think about it.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/football.gif

Alex, l have dedication, but l have to get up at 5:30am to hit the poker tables by 6am and l'd be stuffed, unless l take the day off, depends on how the bank roll has gone for the week, l will think about it but it's a monster call.

http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/salut.gif As I mentioned to a few people I've been working on a new style of offence for Philly in the 2011 season (roster depending).
Well one aspect of the strategy is similar to my current offence (and I mad a mess of the current plan by putting C Miami's offence over the top of it last week) so I sat down last night and used next year's plan as a template to rewrite what I've been doing this year into that infrastructure.

At first it was looking like a complete rewrite, which is silly heading into the playoffs soon, but it turned out I could rewrite everything and it shouldn't actually change where lines are effective or when (that sounds strage but I guess it means not much is actually different).

The only real result of all that plannign is I redesigned one line to pick up and replace the situation of another one above line above it with an almost identical philosophy of play selection- so now I actually have an extra spare line that will come in very handy in the playoffs I'm sure.

So lines 9-16 will still be the same next year, 1-8  (or maybe just 3-5) will change if I get the roster I want. And all 16 are pretty much the same as weeks 1-13 despite a complete rewrite to be conducted this week in preparation for a game against the venerable coach Mr Arnie Kitching.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/football.gif
So this said, if I fall in an ugly heap you'll know why!

Sounds good, l strongly advise making major changes in week 16, in fact a major re-write is the way l would advise you to go. lf l don't see the Eagles in the superbowl l will be one happy MF.

Norm, what do you find so attractive about Alex Ferguson or have i got the wrong Fergie???
 http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/rofl.gif

BTW Norm, it should be a cracker of a game in the C for week 16, we have our backs firmly to the wall. There will be no dropping soap this week for us.   http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/blow%20kiss.gif

We will definately have our work cut out! All the best mate.

Dave, Fergie ex black eyed peas.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/rofl.gif

Dave, l am hoping it's no soup for you in NFLc. Colts play old fashion no nonsense football on both sides of the ball, no razzle dazzle, expect to be hit on both sides of the ball. You will be washing off horses hoofs from your uniforms for a month.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/devil.gif

Tom, just put the gameplan in for our match, now l can rest and wait, cannot wait to see how things work out. l hope you pull one of your world famous game plan stuff ups when entering your turnsheet, l'll take a win any way l can.

Dear Norman,
My gameplan is pretty much done and dusted. I'm just waiting for the results in AR to come out as I have something I need to check first. Hopefully I don't get run over by a bus on Thursday morning!

It should be a very interesting encouter with your Titans. My pre-game research tells me that the spears in Tennesse are being sharpened even as we speak.  For someone who bags the spearchuckers you sure throw a lot of long ball.

I guess you like mis-direction as well. It seems to happen a lot in this league. (Mostly off the field, not on it!)

Glad I'm not the only one who has brain mixups with the names Texans and Titans, you did use the right scouting tom?

Tom, l don't think it's any secret that we go long, we have no OPS, but l am sure the scouting will also tell you a little bit about what formations we run. l would be very happy if you played us like a run and shoot team, you would make my day.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/rofl.gif

l think the AY Titans are actually are very unique squad one that you probably won't find anywhere, l wanted to create something different. Not sure if they will stay this way forever with the success of the NFLc Colts but l might just try so l have three very different teams. l would love a fourth, down the track.

l cannot wait, l am so glad you are entering your gameplan in on the last day at the last possible minute, put as much pressure on yourself time wise, that should all ensure we get a world famous Tom entering stuff up, l'll take a win any way l can.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/rofl.gif

l really am looking forward to the match, who ever loses is out of the playoff hunt. l am very interested so see how you move the  ball against this new defence, which you have not faced before. l think Alex mentioned in the tips section the Skins tourched it, or words to that effect. They took the old version to the Hostle out of running formations. That made me fix it up to this version which can handle the running formations as well. The defence so far has not had a problem with passing teams, all three teams have beaten passing teams fairly easier with it. Alex, seems to suggest you run a different offence, l have played you a few times, l cannot see what he sees, you are what you are a salad tosser, a very good one and a very good coach, so if you can crack this defence l will be impressed to say the least. Mike Parr's high flying c Texans, and the Gorner Chargers both fell under it's spell.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/devil.gif

l think l will be up at 5am Friday morning to get this game read, l doubt l will sleep, like a kid in a candy store. Amazing to be this fired up after all these years, started playing this beast in 1988.

When I played Tom 2? weeks ago his offence wasn't merely the stretch I've seen in Carolina and other places, (S SO DR DS EV S on all downs), but I shant say more. I think that most people who use the S in AY these days use their own plays other than the 5-10 made famous by Sims and Arthurton 2 seasons ago, and use S for different reasons as only paart of their plan, not every down except SYO (I RC RN R) and 3rddown (D FI)

Whoops am I playing the Titans this week?

Only kidding. I am more than ready to rumble in the Bengals jungle. There will be no holds barred in this encounter and I am also salivating at the chops in anticipation.
I am keen to see your "new" secret weapon that will destroy me in one swoop.
Let me know if you want that live hookup on Thursday night... cause I can't see myself waiting till 6:00 AM.

How about a little review of this game for those avid AY fans interested in the match of the round? (obviously no major plans divulged, but a drive or quater by quater rundown would be lovely!).

Tom, l will post here on Thursday night, if l am up and going to do this 1am reading, l'd prefer the 5am which is equally crazy l know.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/frustrated.gif

Tom, don't worry l don't expect an easy match, but l think it will be won to remember. Considering our roster, but our performances of late have improved and l think the team is still in development and will really get much much better over the next couple of seasons, but l still think we are more than capable with the new defence of giving it a shake.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/devil.gif

Alex, l played sir Tom back to back last year and early this season and in the AR and sure he is not a Sims but he lives in their world.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/rofl.gif

Alex, l will knock up a non-play non-formation non-strategy based  drive summary no worries, unless you want to do it Tom, but l guess the winner better do it so l will do it then.
