Andrew Risson, good game, always sad to lose but, you showed already that with a draft under your belt the silver and back will be back. UP 17-0 l still felt anything could happen and it did a great fight back 17-14 at the half. Then a run back and a short punt gave the Titans short field position to get 10 points,  those little breaks made the difference. lt was tight and solid in the 4th no breaks and no scoring. Great game, the wild west just got wilder with the new silver and black. Well done Andrew glad to have you on board, look forward to plenty of actions.

Titans get the last wildcard spot.

Titans lost to the Colts Week 1 got flogged by the Jets 0-37 in Week 2 with an 0-2 start to the season the usual suspects had the wagons drawn in a circle calling for another 7-9 season and missing the playoffs. We faced the chiefs week 3 and those pundits had us 0-3 and looking for the number one draft.

The moral of the story is this, don't listen to anyone else, you have to be able to look at a loss and find out why you lost, if it's gameplan or squad issues you have to find the problem, then fix it.

KC edge past the Pats by 2 points, cliff hanger.

Bolts do it all in the first half 21-2 over the Colts, amazing the Colts last season had real potential, if Dex had of stayed around l think that team could have done some damage.

Texans shoot down the Jets, only 7 points in the second half all the action was early.

Bengals honeymoon is offically over as their season goes from bad to worse losing to the coachless Miami in OT. Again Miami as per the Colts if coaches would have stayed and developed their teams they could have had real heavy weight contenders. Tom will be topping up the burbon for the draft season.

Denver under new coach have shown great signs for furture, this was just a setup, the draft ahead and a new attitude the Horses are set to canter in 2011.

Cards Mike Thorp-Potter beats up on the superbowl champs to stay in the WC hunt, the desert just got hotter.

The battle of the birds saw the green machine come from behind to  keep their perfect season dream alive. Falcons are still a real threat and this will give them much homework for the playoffs.

Vikings out of the blue new life as they look to build a head a steam. Paul Divit back on the long boats.

Beats green machine lose a thriller to the Skins 3 points, the WC  race is wide open.

58-37 Rams run over the Lions, Mike Parr's motown Lions are back in the back for WC race, what an amazing scoreline.

49ers looking to the draft to boost the system fight out a losing start under new head coach. Bears as per colts and miami, Bobby Davis or more to the point COLIN BUCKLE if any of these guys had stayed we might have seen a new heavy weight contender in the central the BIG BAD Chicago BEARS.

What a week in the AY....

l'd expect some UP skirting in week 16 with so much on the line.

Welcome Andrew, it is indeed afantatsic to have another aussie in here, especially joining the wild west. Coach risson brings to Oakland a great wealth of experience and success, and will be a very tough nut to crack next season. All the best Andrew, great to have you on board.

Another epic New England vs Kansas City clash to add to the long line between one of the big GP coaching rivalries. Only 1 offensive TD scored, that being by the Pats, KC gave up a 13-0 lead to a ferocious and customary NE fightback. In the two minute warning, the Chiefs down 17-16, KC steadily moved down the field to give rookie KK Lawrence Tynes a shot at glory, which the young star duely nailed a 50yder with 3 seconds left to grab a 19-17 Chiefs victory.

The game had it all, INT TD's, KR TD's, 4th and 1 Goaline stands at the 1.  I spent a heck of a lot of time on this game trying to work out what i wanted to do. I eventually settled on some different things which went away in parts from the usual KC ethos. I was extremely happy to get such a tough pre-playoff hit out and despite not scoring an offensive TD, thought we did a good job vs one of the leagues great defences.  I am sure despite the disappointment of losing such a close game, Greg would be well pleased with the way the Pats played.  Fish is a real gent and superb tactician, so its always good to come away with a win, especially after the way his charges humbled us at home last playoffs.

Certainly looks like the AFC is finally settled, although the central title remains up for grabs coming up to the last week.  great wins for both Norm's Titans and Martyn's Texans. I am sure the rest of the league will be looking with great interest to next week.

The NFC is like a dog's breakfast. The Cardinal will be going out and buying a lottery ticket today, talk about a huge week for Arizona. They win a shootout after a rampaging second half over the Panthers, then watch all playoff rivals bar the indomitable Skins slip up on banana skins. What an incredible finish to the season, surely one of the tighest w16 playoff races i have seen. In all probability, there will only be 2 NFC teams at the end of regular season that have records of 10-6 and better.

As Norm said, the Green machine just rumble on their way, although the Falcons proved they will be a force come the business end of the season.

Nice reports Norm, Fles.

We are still alive but really, really wanted a Packers victory.

Now we need a miracle to happen, twice!  Me to beat Al and the Cowboys to beat the Redskins.......not likely to happen!

The Panthers are safe in the wildcard place due to their huge points difference, so it is the Redskins (with their better points difference and an easy game) that will clinch the final wildcard spot.

The Cardinals would love to see Al get his perfect record, if they were not playing us!

Our first game was a classic and a travesty. We dominated really but lost by 3 pts. Expect another closely fought battle with my closest rival!

Congratulations to all who have made the playoffs and a big shout out to the gameplan gods for a Cowboys/Cardinals win double in week 16!!

I’m now considering binning the run heavy GP & going back to the S dominated plan.  It seems to work for everyone else, so it might work for me with the roster I have?!

I have to do something drastic, or I might miss out on the playoffs again!

I'm slipping back towards a run first offence and not minding the results so far.

Can't see the Redskins losing to the Cowboys Mike. Sorry.

First 49ers game has been run and done and not suprisingly we were KILLED by penalties. Expected to have some problems with certain plays I like to use not being trained as much but being hit with a combined 15 penalties was a big reason we lost the field position battle and many of their drives were kept alive.

There is definitely life in this 49ers team and looking forward to the next game. Impressed that my offence racked up some decent numbers. Even though the stats say we only fumbled the ball once, we actually lost it 4 times but thankfully recovered it 3 times.

Looking forward to the draft to reinforce some areas in the team and hoping that the cull doesn't destroy what could be a really good roster next season.

Alex,

15-0.....what are the odds on a perfect season????

another great game against fles really havn't had time to delve into it majorly but my gp vcon thoughts went something like this
1st half shit i can't stop these chiefs i don't think i can compete with them in the playoffs
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/blue.gif
then the mighty comeback well things arnt so bad there is still life in these pats yet he has 94 yd's to drive with 2 mins left i'll take the victory even if the chiefs do deserve the win
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/smile.gif
oh bugger he has a good 2min drill and a team to orchestrate it
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/frustrated.gif
like i said the chiefs deserved the win hopefully i get payback in the playoffs with a few surprises still to come
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/devil.gif
have no complaints about the 2 min drive and loss in a lot of these losses you get killed by a shit penalty or a deep pass into WC or ZD but there were no penalties and every play v play was realistic and what you'd expect to happen so that is nice for a change well good luck to all

I really did expect some smoke and mirrors stuff from the last  games vs the Pats and Chargers.  With things so wrapped up i don't expect too many cards to be laid on the table before the serious stuff comes around.

By the way Greg, the only single thing that disappoints me in the slighest about your delightful avatar is there is no picture of their great coach lounging in front of that plethora of eye catching talent.  I guess Jan didn't like the idea?  http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/rofl.gif

Hi folks, have been on holidays away from my PC since last week, adn I get back today, start going through emails and it goes up in smoke..., so the backup PC was pieced together for the meantime, so I might remain quiet for a little while yet...
Also been working hard on the new forum night and day, only a week or two away folks, so keep watching the skies...
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/salut.gif

The Falcons have the most unique offence I have seen yet in advanced GP, big hats off to Alan for a great game and a wonderful defensive challenge handed down to my team.
As always eagles stick it out, avoid the risky plays that are other team's bread and butter and squeek by with a close win.

Falcons haven't seen the best of this GP yet, I'm looking forward to hop[efully hosting the Falcons in week 19 if I can fulfill one of the two goals I set for myself this season, win 1 playoff game in advanced.

For those wondering what my number 1 season goal was? It was to sweep the Cards, one win away from that goal too. If I win the next two games I'll have met my goals and will be very pleased.
