man its hard to pick between those teams, they are all rock solid! When I think of the 4 teams I'd least like to play in the league (for fear of loosing) its these 4. The Chargers with the phenomenal offence that makes grown men cry. The Patriots with the resoltute defence and controlling offence that has the same effect, and the Chiefs and Texans who are both very balanced all-round teams with no weaknesses and no clear target to work on. to pick one I Went for the Chiefs, slightly over the Texans, and I think this will be the AFC game (and go down to the wire), though having made this pick we all know the Chargers can do the dead from the wildcard like they did in 2008 season, and the Pats have that big ace up their sleeve, the saying 'defence wins championships' I rekon the field is close enough to throw a blanket over, to borrow a silly horse racing metaphore. --Last edited by Alex on 2007-08-10 13:39:54 --

I've just had two really tough Playoff games in 'C' and 'AY' against Norman. I'm still over stressed after planning and planning and planning. Now that I'm out of 'C' having just come one game away from a famous three-peat (I'm still fuming), all my attention will now be on 'AY'. I'm even more determined to win this one now and I will be trying absolutely everything to win it!

the pats plan is in could be anyone's game and could go either way battles with fles are always hard fought and there will probably not be much in it and probably go down to the wire i have had many battles with coach fles over many years and leagues and he just gets harder and harder to plan against with an awesome record for the season and favourite to take out the AFC there will be no shame if i lose. our battles are always looked forward to and i think i can speak for fles also whoever of us is to lose will not be fuming but congratulate the winner with honesty and sincerety best of luck fles (though i probably need it more ) it's games like these that keep me coming back for great rivalries and friendship regardless of result--Last edited by greg salmon on 2007-08-13 17:07:38 --

well said, we enjoy this rivalry too! Spoke to dave today- he hasn't done anything on his GP because he's been too busy sitting and thinking what you might call to catch him out, the mind games are taking their toll on him!

Glad to see that someone has finally voted for my Texans, I was beginning to think my excellent recent form and two wins the last time I've played Goz in AY had been forgotten, lol! Having said that, I'm really not very confident of beating Goz seeing as he is SO up for this game now, and I certainly can't see me getting to the SB. I started a new job last week, and my Dad went into hospital last Thursday so let's just say GP, no matter how important the game, isn't actually all that important to me just now, and even if it was I haven't much time to work out GPs anyway! I'll still try and give it my best shot tho' Goz...

congratulations dave well played and a deserved winner naturally i am disappointed as this was possibly my last shot for a few seasons with a few retirements really hurting the team good luck with your up coming battles and the next one looks extra tough with goz looking to be in the best form i think i've ever seen him in (and thats saying something as he is one of the best coaches playing this game )good luck to all to rub salt into my wounds i now have to go to work

Thanks for your kind words Fish, as always you are humble and gracious in victory and defeat. Class. Thought we were in a bit of trouble early being 10-0 down, but to the boys credit they steadied and went on with the job. Pleased thatat we lost the turnover war and still won, in big part to QB David Greene stepping up his game. A win over the Pats is good anytime, you know you have played a game of football. Just happy to get the win, Al was right i have been giving the game plenty of thought while painting my place, was expecting some Salmon trickery (you always seem to pull something out of the hat). Our gaming rivalry is the epitamy of what i love about GP, goes back a lot of years and just adds to the enjoyment even more. Big AFC Championship game against the rejuvenated Chargers. goz has his team humming and will prove an enormous challenge this week. Congrats to both he, Al and Alan for their fine wins. All the best for next round guys.
