Fancy playing in a league with Montana, Marino, Joe Namath, Emmit Smith, Barry Sanders, Reggie White and so on?

I was tempted to do a 1991 Eagles team, the year I first started following the NFL, when I joined but taking over a decrepid roster was challenging enough, Paul thought about doing the great Vikings team of the 70s, any one thought about this? Maybe it could be a leaguewide trend next year?

Absolutely....Montana to Rice combination back....

I did this with the SBI Green Bay Packers once. Bart Starr, Jerry Kramer, etc etc. It was a hoot!

l want the Titans to go back to the early 80's Houston Oilers, Moon, Rozier, Highsmith, Pinkett, the greatest blocking only TE ever Jamie Williams, bring it...

When I played in BG a year or so back, the Oilers were still in the league (although not with a back-dated roster IIRC)! Obviously the coach refused to accept that they were history and relocate them! I'm fairly sure they were uncoached by the time I joined the league though, so I'm surprised that Danny didn't take the opportunity to update them.

In honour of this 75th year in franchise history for the Philly Eagles it looks like I'll be putting in a altered AY eagles roster next year to pay tribute to my favourite all time team, the 1991 Eagles.

Let the 'throwback' fun begin!

l am guessing that's the preacher Reggie White, Randell C, Herchie Walker etc... hell of a team that one.

Ronnie Lott, I remember that hardnosed hard hitting SOB

He was definitely a champion player and a real enforcer in the defensive backfield. Hopefully his name rubs off on the defence as well as Montana and Co on the offence.

Ashamed to say that was one of my original plans when I started and have done nothing about it. I wanted to see the purple people eaters in action. I think I will get off my butt and start renaming players. See how many names you can all recognise.

I'll be starting mine this week unless I need the special action for something else.
