Has this ever happened to you?:
You've been putting instructions in and been interupted, or spent so long typing them that you "time out" of the softsim.co.uk site?
Well here's a trick I just discovered.

When you get to the page that says you've just tried to submit instructions but were logged out for taking too long, hit back on your browser (or just holdright down and click left in opera), this will take you back to the page iwth your instructions on it,
then middle click on  the home link, this will open up a new page in your browser (you are using Opera right?)
then on this new tab log in as normal
close this tab and then hit submit again on your original page and your instructions go through no worries without having to retype them!

hope this helps

Have had a few probs in the past. Timed out after 3 minutes a few weeks ago!  I spoke to Danny who said you should have 1 hour before it times out but this wasn't happening.  It is usually OK most times though.

Never had a problem myself - it only takes me a few seconds to enter my gameplan!!

definatly don't get an hour IMX, happened to me today when I had to answer a couple of emails while logged in and putting in instructions, and was happy to find this workaround.

Hi everyone. I had problems last night for the first time ever with being timed out, even though I was on just 3 minutes! I just closed the browser and started again!

I've had some terrible problems with it in the past - once got timed out about 3 or 4 times trying to enter the same plan (having to rewrite it in full each time!) before finally getting it through and none of those attempts took more than 10 minutes at the very most. On another occasion, I hit the Back to previous page button, then hit the Submit button and my plan got through, but that doesn't seem to work most of the time.

It's been OK for me recently though, but it sounds like I might have some fun entering my AY plan today!

Confirming this happened again to me today, putting in my AY game I rewrote over ever box on offence and it took me a while, I hit submit and it said I'd timed out.
so I hit BACK on the browser
I clicked to open the softsim HOME link to open in a new tab/window.
It said I was logged out so I logged in within this window
then hit submit on the original window and it went through, as I had logged back in, but in a differnt tab, thus all my boxes were already filled in on the original tab.

This is a great trick Alex, this has still never happened to me.

As l mentioned above l am always clicking into a blank field to make sure the page does not time out, not sure if that is what is saving me or just plain old luck.
