I will take your request and put it in my inbox.
I intend to do one for each person as they get off the bench and become a starter, when I am doing my next lot I may redo yours.

Now back on topic, I was thinking about protection from Rbs, K is likely to give as good protection as A right? Would K give better protection against weakside blitzes like WS since there a RB offset to that side?

Alex, yes K and A with two backs both good protection and yes K would give you better protection l would say against weakside blitzes as the back is offset to the weakside, l don't know if anyone has any numbers on this like K against weakside blitzes l don't but that would make sure of it with stats to back it up.

Would you expect protection to be worse in T/U compared to A/K/O/I?

Alex, yes only one back in the T/U backfield, great for running if you had two ORO TE's but protection would be not as good as A/K. l don't find "I" that good, the rule book does say "at the expense of the passing game (the running backs take longer to release into the flat or upfield and cannot pass-block as easily, being directly behind the QB at the snap.) You do get passes off and some blitzes can be picked up but not as good as A/K and l have seen ugly stuff like fumbles and picks out of "I" when looking to pass out of it.

I think the I is definately more susceptible to the blitz than the A or K for example.  Norm is right witht he passing, not as good from my experience except say the TE passes or Playactions.  I have found that playactions definately work best from the I, although would be interested to see what everyone else thinks?  If you like your lead running i definately think the I is best.  I guess in gameplan you can see why the I is used little in the NFL anymore and is restricted more to college.

l don't run "I" anymore so l gave up on it due to not being able to pass well out of it. But l might try a line at some stage to give it a revisit. l guess my basic idea is be in a formation that suits your squad and gives your team the best chance to make the play with the plays you run. l would rather go to "A" to pass and run, but l can see "I" still being effective some coaches do commit more to "GL" and if you can get a playaction off this could be big yards l remember this hurting me a few times.

you won't get a better formation for play action
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/smile.gif
i have found 2 recievers and 2 backs work best for play action and I rules 1 back and you seem to get penalties against you and the fake is not taken seriously 1 wide reciever is covered too well (even T doesn't seem to work that well)

Greg, playactions don't like blitzes, a good coach should blitz "I" l think that makes it tricky. l think "I" is a power run formation up the middle for sure the old raiders used I PW really well too from memory. Each to there own and what ever works for your team.

"I" don't know why "I" seem to have settled into the "I" formation at the moment, just for stability I guess.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/smile.gif
I started last year trying T and U, then decided I wanted to try the lead runs and misdirection so tried A I and K, ostensibly I didn't notice a difference in my performance but notice that they attract different defences, everyone seems to love to call FD agaisnt I form, which plays like OR absolutely love and unlike what you would expect in real life my outside running is great as a result. I should try A again at some point and see if I can make a direct comparison.
