How do you guys use the "Citation" and "Response" options. I have tried but have absolutely no idea!

No. I mean the bit where you cut and paste someone elses comments from another post.
When I cut and paste I don't get the blue border with the word "Citation" at the top of the post.

instead of pressing reply, press the "quote" button on the post you want to quote. it looks like this:

Or you can just copy the text in someones post, paste it into your reply liek this

How do you guys use the "Citation" and "Response" options. I have tried but have absolutely no idea

and then select it
and press the "quote" button in the post message screen, the one that looks like this
http://users.on.net/~acoombe/miscellaneous/Forum%20Icons%20etc/quote%20tect.gif

and then it looks like that that above,

and if you want you can alter this text, and add the author of these words at the top yourself by just typing after the first set of square brackets.

To which the Huge Philly fan going by the name of Alex responded with: instead of pressing reply, press the "quote" button on the post you want to quote.

editing the text inside a quote is useful for clarity by deleting text that is not relevant to what youare replying to.
This makes it easier for people to follow the conversation.

Thanks Alex. Do you know that I have never noticed the Quote icon. Will give it a try soon!

Um, is that short for "hit the highway", "head to head", or "hammer that headcase" ?
