Hi,

Is there a limit as to the size of the banner that is linked to a signiture? If a banner was submited with 1024*768 pixels does it blow the arse off the yoke....or does it perhaps keep the reader a bit more entertained for a while ?

no way that size would be tolerable at all, everyone would have to scroll down a whole page just to see the next post, couple of hundred pixels at most.
I think I was most happy with the ones I made that were 150 pixels by 800, though the most recent one I made I forgot what I had decided and made it 250 tall, and its anoyingly larger to me already.

by the way jay seeing the helmut you now have does that mean you are now relocating either the redskins or cowboys to new york in the ay

Not exactly Greg.....not nearly good enough to run with the big dogs yet.........however, i am in the process of trying the advanced game.....BTW can you re-locate teams to different leagues ??? I didn't think that this was possible or missed it in the rule books somewhere.

you can't take a team from one league to another but you can take a team on for it to become the absent team in that division i.e the giants don't exist in the ay therefore if you were to take over a team that is not coached in the ay nfc east it could become the new york giants

nothing like throwing yourself in the deep end to learn (and how true the old saying is you learn more from losing than winning) you would probably surprise yourself with a few wins while learning, building and preparing your team for an all out assault next season as you learn the lessons from the big dogs that the little ones can't teach, you will get this from reading your games and seeing what the top coaches do then you can transfer this knowledge to a lesser league team if you wish

far more stimulating in a top league i find as you're always learning and never quite know what to expect from your opponent so more challenging and a lot better value for money

this is a perfect size as far as I'm concerned:

Ok thanks again Alex (800*150), do you know of any good place that would host these on the net ?? free perferably ?

Greg I understand your way of thinking etc...but I'm a true Advanced greenhorn/freshman....If I had some playing time under my belt then ya your suggested approach would be the more logical...however, if I jump in at the deep end with the Big dogs then I feel it will only turn me from the advanced game if things go horribly wrong.

At least with a half of a season/season under my belt, I'd expect to be able to adjust to these sort of situations etc or may fell that the Advanced is not for me......

By the way I have received my first turn and the turnsheet has about 7-8 situations to allow changes/additions etc. However, when I registered with the on-line website I found that I had all 32 situations available for me to change.

Should I only fill out the 7-8 of these online, and if I fill out or change everything (entirely re-write the GP) will I be charged extra for doing so (i would of thought not as it is my first gameplan and would otherwise take me weeks to re-write the old one.

 Anyway thanks again.

Jay

I'd never even read the advanced turnsheet or rulebook before I joined the AY, and I'm 24-11 in the two seasons since then.
Its not that scary!

To put up a picture to link to just search for free image hosting on google.

32 lines is great for new players, put your plan into effect, change it all when it goes awry.
Most experienced coaches aparently don't change much week to week.

NFLI huh? And here I was thinking that AY, C, AR and A were the only Advanced leagues out there! Best of luck with your new team Jay and don't wait too long before coming to join us in AY or C.
