What a crazy idea, but would be a monster hit l think. l use "SKYPE" for my instant messaging and a head set to talk over the net with, if l add a web cam l can have a live talking viewing live reading of matches with an opponent who has the same setup, and you can even bring others into the game, so imagine a playoff game you could have other coaches drop in to hear and see the coaches joy and sorrow, mental.

Great idea, I use skype too, from time to time.
For those who don't know its a program that uses your computer's broadband internet conection to send the sound of your voice as a phone call to someone you know who also has the program on thier PC. i.e. its a free phone call ANYWHERE in the world.
All you need is a headset with a microphone, that will cost you $10 and the free program from here: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/
Norm we can use this one for the superbowl, book it in!

Done, l will get a web cam set up for the big day as well.


l know it's big in the UK it was my mate Erol in the UK who got me onto it, so you UK coaches who are on Skype anytime you play me and want to try and organise a skpye live web cam reading let me know l'm down should be a ripper.

I don't have skype but I guess I could. I use various other systems to get my internet voice going. Skype was notoriously incompatible  with anything else. I've used a program called teamspeak to allow a group of people to chat online together. Doesn't do video though. Though messenger can do it and so can yahoo I assume. Does anyone use messenger?        

I tried getting messenger to work a few months back and ended up having to do a repair install,something to do with damn internet explorer scrïpts or something. I've had skype on for a long time but haven't used it for ages.
Been nagging dave to get for years now.

Skype to skype runs like pamie in her early bay watch days, like a kitten, l have had no problems, my mate Erol has a web cam works a treat as well. lt's a simple download l have had no problems with it, if we all skype it then skype to skype is all totally free.

the 3 way conference call option got a good test going today, this works a treat folks na ddoens't cost a cent, check it out if you have internet at home.

Agree, l think it was great, imagine superbowl day we set a time for the reading and we open up the game to anyone who wants to get in on the live reading.


ln the NFLAA in oz on superbowl day we let anyone who wanted to come along to the live reading do so, it was also a great afternoon  with all the melbourne coaches coming along to hear the big dance. We can easily recreate this with SKYPE.

As dave was saying, imagine doing a NFL.com fantasy draft over the phone with a dozen guys, that'd be sweet.
