well it's about to start in 1/2 an hour and mike thorp potter is coming over to watch have some nacho's planned for 1/2 time (it starts 8am perth time) and some millars draft in the fridge not sure who to cheer for as i like the bears but at the same time would like to see tony dungy win also after building the buccs into a superbowl team only for gruden to win it (and what has he done since)and after what happened during the playoffs last season when his son committed suicide everyone in contact with him says what a great guy he is and you can se it in how he handles himself on the field hopefully a good game between to coaches that are mates should be good

hope you guys had a good day, unfortunately though I was in adelaide yesterday timing was a day off and I didn't get to watch the game with old coach Flesfader like we did 2 years ago when it was the eagles in it (and probably every year for the decade preceding).

The game wasn't the quite the same watching it on my lonesome. lol I did miss the Coombe presence, and with Tom at school, there was no lavish Superbowl spread.  Still it was a good game, one of the craziest first quarters i have seen.  The right team won it, and the build up for next season begins.

while lunching and drinking and superbowl viewing a deal was struck for a salmon/thorp potter (or thorp potter/salmon) joint venture into a new league was mentioned the thought is presently in planning stages and was decided (at the flip of a coin)for a salmon offence thorp potter defence in the 1st season and switched for the 2nd season (thorp potter offence salmon defence)the handbreaks off and the wheels may be turning soon just a few things to iron out first
 

Had a few no PBMers around for the game. I was quoted to say that the Colts wouldn't let Hester score a kick return for TD only to have that proven wrong 10 seconds later. Then they start squib kicking! Idiots. I think Benson going down for the Bears put too much on Jones and Grossman. Jones and Benson worked well in tandem. Once the Bears couldn't keep them fresh and the chains moving the Colts took over. Another ex-Vikings coordinator wins a superbowl.
