I have got to say I have been thoroughly enjoying the ODI series this summer and have caught the majority of most matches.

Although at times it apears as if we are playing a troupe of professional clowns the games have been entertaining for the most part and they have even inspired this old Kanga Cricket player to get out in the park with an esky of beers as the stump with a halfdozen friends and their GFs for a tonk.

I'd forgotten there was a sport other than AmFootball!

The rumour is that the Aussies let us beat them last week to make sure they could continue our humiliation in the final!

Not just saying this because we're so crap at it, but I've never really been a fan of the One Day game and have always preferred Test matches - pity we're crap at that now as well!

Having not been raised in a sporting household I came late to the party and prefer the one day game as a spectator sport.

ODI are too hit and miss for my liking.
