just seen a few preview videos of new features in madden 08 and it looks great again this year, increased defensive AI, QBs have the ability to read the play and actually show what the D is going to be doing during the play (say goodbye to those few defensive plays you love, the oposition will be able to spot them if you're too one dimentional).
Corners can read the route of the recievers, linebackers can read all the other parts of the play, and safeties can read it all.
Each defensive player can be adjusted into hot assignments before the snap and so forth, ultimate control over defence just like offence has had for a while now.
