all the % above and below stuff is meaningless at this stage, I took the test twice with 2 extreme 'personalities" to see what results would be obtained, so the half dozen tests in there now are not truely representative, so you are an all round coach Marc, quite competitive too, without it making you cocky or smug enough to qualify for one of those results.

well your answers gave a high score for competitiveness, and a medium score for both smugness and humbleness, so overall you are an all round coach with no dominant attitude out of the 4 criteria, about as competitive as Marc, but perhaps you don't rub it in people's faces as much, or don't have such a high opinion of yourself.
I'm surprised Tom I thought you'd give the smug-o-meter a run for its money.

Good stuff Alex, and VERY impressed you're listening to The Holy Hour by The Cure! Simply the best band on the planet...

I really am a caring sharing type of person!  I may come across as smug as I have a bit of a "been there, done that" attitude towards gameplan and that has probably come across in many of my posts.  My current record suggests that I still have a way to go before I can really become smug again.  The AY is a great league and has rekindled my interest in gameplan due to the high level of skill of most of the coaches.  I am having a lot of close games and that is testimony to the great coaches out there who really put in a lot of thought and effort each week.
My current thoughts are that training has more of an effect than what I have given it credit for as I feel that I have lost games due to turnovers because I am using plays that are poorly trained. You just can't get away with that against good opposition. My fear is that next season when I have a reasonable amount of carry over training I may not have the roster to do much if it is butchered like I feel it may be.

Against my perceived smugness I have been offering help and my opinion to anyone who asks.  I feel that the better a coach is means the longer they will stay in gameplan and provide decent competition.  I for one don't want to be in a league of 6 players.

Not saying Smugness is a bad thing guys, if that is the way you are I'm sure as norm says "my family and my dog still loves me" more power to you for whatever makes you tick, and Tom you have been very helpful with your advice, as has Nick- ad the results show with a strong humble showing for both of you (who I thoough would get like 60-70 smug points!).

Its all good.

Martyn, the Cure rock! after the Beatles I have more of their music than any other band and are solidly in my top 10, and probably in my top 5 after Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins and the Tea Party. I saw them on their 'Bloodflowers' tour, they played for like 4 hours and did almost all of 'Pornography' as an encore- what a night!

Alex,

The Cure are my favourite band, closely followed by dear old Morrissey, NIN and RHCP. Saw Morrissey recently, really good but annoyed that he only ever plays for 1h 15 (1h 30 if your lucky!) and plays 95% last two albums when he has such a large back catalogue. With The Cure you ALWAYS get a good gig and your moneys worth, and they play for ages (although 4 hours is the most I've heard of you lucky git and alll of Pornography as an encore, shit I wish I'd been there!) Best gig I ever went to, The Cure at the London Kilburn National, May 1992 on their "rehearsal" tour for the Wish tour. Played for 3h30 and did an 18 minute version of A Forest before ending with Faith. Bleeding brilliant...

I quite like Morrisey too, got all his albumns and I absolutely love the Smiths. Growing up I loved the red hots, but gone off them lately. Never heard much NIN.
I just started tracking my listening on
http://www.last.fm/user/AlexCoombe/ starting friday so once its been going for a while you can visit and see what tunes I like, and perhaps at some point I'll set it up to be a NFLAY music radio station too!
