I've awarded some of our active members with moderator status of certain forum sections, this means some of you will have additional powers in some places, for example the ability to edit other member's posts.
The purpose of this is to ensure that offensive material is removed as soon as possible if it appears. (for those rare times when I am too busy to spend much time here).
Though actually we really don't have any of those sorts of people registered here, so there really isn't much need for us to police what people say here and as such the addition of some of you as moderators in some of the important forum sections is more of a nod of recognition and a thankyou to some of our more active members.
If we had hundreds or thousands of members and loads of traffic I might need to rely on some moderators to breakup the odd verbal fistycuffs at times, but absent a huge influx of idiots to the forum moderator status is instead a little 'reward', though I can't imagine you'd get that much of a kick out of it,
