Jags gameplan is in, our really first big test against the UK Ledgend that is Danny Slavin's Indy Colts, the real season begins in full force. The Jags gameplan looks Tip Top counting every sleep for this one. The Jags are now fully operational both sides of the ball, Greg "grindit" Salmon and Norman "stormin" Goetz have got this team looking like winners so far can the punishment continue or will we just continue where the Jags have left off and always end up top draft picks?

Mike Thorp-Potter's Steelers sound the early warning that Steel town is a force to be feared, and week 1 will be a monster test as they travel to mile high in Denver to face the AFC Champions of Marc Bradbrook.

Tom Richards Big Apple Jets travel to the Bengals, and the word around the camp fire is that Tom's "honeymoon is over baby and it's never gonna be that way again" - the cruel sea. Jets lost in pre-season as did the Bengals, but Tom Richards says pre-season means nothing and laughs off suggestions that he's a spent force.   Lots of talk suggests that the AY he's finished as many top coaches can stop the spear chuckers, but in the AR coach Richards still has some future.

Mike Parr has been warned about enjoying the florida sun down south and just expecting to coast into a playoff spot. The  pre-season belting has by all accounts given him the slap he needed and week 1 is one of the toughest tests in all AR as the Dolphins make the trip to Chris Hatfield's Chiefs of KC and they are no sunshine band. This dude has all the records and he had a flogging victory in pre-season sounding a message to coach Parr don't turn up to KC looking for an easy ride.

Martyn Williams Browns, have promised much over the last few seasons, with a win in pre season under their belts and traveling to a Raiders outfit that lost last start and has also struggled it's a real chance to get a first up win for Williams. The division despite losing the pack leader Nick Sims, has added Throp-Potter and Greg "grindit" Salmon to the Jags head coaching ranks making this division likely to be even harder than ever before. lt's now or never for Williams, the dawgs look strong as ever on paper.

Paul Gorner's Bolts keep on keeping on in the AR a pre season win  and a home game against the Bills of Alan Baylis also pre winners. These guys know each others games, can the run and shoot keep on burning it's way in the AR?

Good luck to all coaches and teams for the much anticipated week 1 opener in the NFLAR...

Bring it... and let's hope the Jags are as competitive as the pre-season unbeaten run has suggested.

Nice One Norm!

An enticing look at what will be a very interesting first season for me in NFLAR.

Having discarded the Nick Sims gameplan it will be up to the new one to hold its own and keep the Steelers recent success going.

Week 1 sees us visiting the reigning AFC Champions Broncos, so a nice easy game to get the season rolling then!....

Having seen Greg over the weekend, I know just how confident Norm is at the moment, Norm believes his teams are invincible at present!  I will be hoping to burst that bubble in weeks 8 & 10 if no one else has done so beforehand....

Good luck to all!

Yeah, you have a nice easy opener for sure. We are looking forward to a long rivalry in the AFC central. The Jags are pumped, l just hope we don't go out with egg on our face week 1.

A great read Norman.  I think that the first game will give a strong indication to where my season will go.  If I struggle against an uncoached team in Cincinatti then you may be on the money.

I am feeling confident - gee if the Bengal's gameplan hasn't changed from last year then I have absolutely no excuses, except for a smallish roster. But then that never stopped you did it?

You have a big game against the Colts!  Danny is a good coach who will ceratinly make you earn a win.

The new Steelers are probably going to struggle against the Broncos who are a little predictable but what they do, they do very well.  Good luck Mike.

Mike Parr's Dolphins also have a tough assignment against the mighty Chiefs.  I dissed their headcoach last year and I bet he is still waiting for payback.

Martyn's Browns have a tough Division and might go out to an early lead by the end of week 1. Divisional games are critical and this year will be no different.

Good luck to all tonight.
