Week 3 had few surprises.  The Browns roasted the Jets 24-17. The Jets were lucky to get that close scoring two touchdowns in the 2 minute warning! Browns now 3-0  Jets 1-2

Slavin's colts roll MTP's Steelers 49-3! Four turnovers sunk the steel curtain along with a rampant Indy O.

Alan Baylis and his Bills are still undefeated beating up on the Raiders 34-6.

Mike Parr' Dolphins  stun the SB Broncos at home 34-20.  The battle for the  AFC East cellar just got hotter.

Hatfield's Chiefs burnt the Bengals 20 - 10. No coach but 3 losses for a total of only 16 points.

The camp fire in Jacksonville is very quiet now as the co-coaches get torched by Goz's Chargers 27-3. Any one heard from Norman and Greg lately?

Come back Nick Sims, all is forgiven!! chant the Steeler faithful.....


Well and truly stuffed, especially caught out in goalline and short yardage situations!

Will try to rectify this for future.....Oh good, Goz's Chargers next!!

I presume you mean your O on short yardage? I got lucky on some of those calls/plays TBH.

Unlucky game for the Steelers. A few key plays that other way and who knows?

we're still here and hoping for improvement in jacksonville

i have been very busy lately with a few projects on while norm doesn't have redilly avaliable internet acess at the moment but don't worry the losses are certainly teaching some lessons

this league has always been touted as the toughest and so far it's living up to its rep but i'm sure me and norm can get it together to bother a few teams

including the jets
 

Well perhaps my Browns are for real?! Guess I'll find out this week against the Chiefs, who we have of course beaten the last two seasons. Back to the Jets game, I was amazed at how much we dominated the game (apart from the last two minutes!) as I never expected to. I decided to take a different approach to roster management during the off season as the new rules begin to kick in (and after something I noticed against an opponent in NFLB), and so far it seems to be working, coupled with my extra experience of the advanced format now. Still don't think I'll beat those Colts mind, although with the addition of a key FA this week who knows?!
