I have set up a private fantasy football league on NFL.com  It is very easy to get registered and find the league.

The league name is now "gameplan"
The password is still "gameplan", (how original!)

(The original "Gameplanners" league has been disbanded!)
The draft date is 22 August, 2007, or 8-22-07 in American speak.
It is an automated draft so all you have to do is rank your players and set a draft order for the type of player you want in each round.

The first 12 in get a place. Gentlemen, start your engines.

Tom, I joined just now (making 3 teams so far), the draft date is now July 11th!!, so we need another 9 teams to register today or else the league will fold and we will have to create another one.

I don't know what happened to the draft date.  (Last year NFL.com made some major f-ups on their fantasy leagues as well.)

If we don't get 12 don't stress. The league will be cancelled if it does not get to 12 and I will make another one the next day or so.

I am in no position anyway to do a draft this early in the pre-pre-season.

Alex and Mike, many apologies. The "Gameplanners" league will be disbanded as it won't fill by tomorrow.  Try the "gameplan" league with password "gameplan", draft date on 22 August, 2007.

It is a lot of fun - as long as your first round picks don't get injured.  I had a healthy LT2 last year and what I thought was a great draft but didn't even make the playoffs!  There is hope for everyone.

I'm in! After last year's thrilling debut season, I felt the Longshots was no longer an appropriate name and so have renamed the franchise the London Leviathans in recognition of our previous achievements and in tribute to my own gigantism!

I was referring to my height (of my body!!) though.

I'm 6'5'' which I reckon makes me moderately gigantic.  

6'5"!!!,  Are you sure you are not Australian??

I am 6'1" and often feel dwarfed by the tall blokes (and women!) here in Perth!

We still need another 3 coaches to fill the league.  Anyone out there who is interested or has a friend who is interested had better giddy-up.

The draft date is August 22 so 10 days to go.

I think I will post a note on the yahoo site as well to see if there is any interest there.
