the cardinals well what do you have to do a int that went for a td cost me the game which other than that i did pretty well in

i guess i will now be after a minor bowl and a better crack next season

though i'll still be after a few scalps before the seasons done

Jan did well with the run again. I stupidly had BZ in the gameplan. With the amount of times that Jan runs, amazed that gave up no points. Not amazed at the 4yd a carry average that my D gave up.



Will have to address my reaction and playcalling the next time the Cowboys and Eagles go head to head.

using the theory if it aint broke dont fix it

but now it's broke so will be interesting to see what she decides to do

wouldn't say that it's broken. just need the O to be more balanced and Jan will do even better. Will be easy for some teams to stuff the run if that is all Jan is willing to do.

When the eagles passed the QB got pressured a LOT. 4 hurries and 4 sacks for only 10 passing attempts. Not good for the eagles. Great for the cowboys.

Still, the runing of the eagles was extremely productive. Except for a few key turnovers the scoreline would have been a lot closer.

A big week of crucial div games.  Greg's Cardinals did indeed look very stiff to go down to the Skins, the TD return for the Skins getting them over the hump after an ordinary offensive game.  Sam's Cowboys look to be in great position to take the East with a strong shutout of the improved Birds.  Does indeed look a strange game on paper, to rush over 200yds and not score was bizarre, especially with n missed FG attempts.  looks like the Cowboy defence really stepped up big at the key times, always a good mark of a quality team.  The NFC Central still continues to amaze with what must be one of the toughest divs i have ever seen.  Amazing records seeing they are taking wins off one another.  NFC West is ultra even, even the bottom Rams could take the titlke with a few wins strung together.
The AFC West is even more convoluted.  One game seperating all sides at the half way mark says something about the competition.  interesting to see that the Broncos are 3-5, yet all 3 wins are over Div rivals!  The AFC Central seems to be the strongest AFC div, with the Ravens going down in a shock upset to the upstart Titans.  I have been doing my prep for the Bengals game and they look like a tough opponent to measure, won't be easy.
I was very pleased with the Fins effort.  The gameplan went to scrïpt especially after a very tight opening quarter.  Its definately a far more conserative offence and defence, but QB Jay Fiedler plays good safe football.  It will take a while to shape the side, but i really love the building blocks available.  Probably reflects more of my older basic style..no frills smashmouth football.  good fun!

so whether she balances things up in the run/pass is up to her

i told her at the beginning this team can run a lot better than pass and it has worked with this being her 1st loss so will be interesting to she what she does about it

her changes have been nil on offence since setting it up she said she wouldn't change untill she lost

so lets see what happens now

If Jan doesn't change anything then wk10 will be interesting. Already have some things in mind to stop the running game. Slight adjustments to my offence...

nah game just a bit of fun for jan she isn't to serious yet and isn't really into forum type things

Hopefully the eagles get back on track and jan becomes addicted like the rest of us.
