Congrats to Greg and his Cards for their 13-7 victory over my Cowboys. Talk about going down to the wire. After the Cards got their 13-7 lead by the half and nothing happening in the third quarter my Cowboys got the ball with 56.11 gone and from our own 40. We were able to drive the ball to the Cardinals 9 yard line before running out of time. The drive included to 4th down conversions, one being 2 yards the other being 6.

Wasn't meant to be and my offence struggles for the second straight time against the Cards and go down at home. Hopefully this convinces the Salmon's to stay on in the GB as they have reached the Bowl game in only their second season. Considering how terrible the Cards were before the Salmon's arrival, that was no small achievement.

Disappointed by the loss as the offence went asleep...again (with the only exception being the TD drive and some long runs making the yards per carry look better then it was).

Well done to the Cards and good luck in the bowl game against the Dolphins. Should be a good one and hopefully the Cards can bring the title back over to the NFC this season.

Hopefully next season I can open up the offence and score more then I have been against the quality teams.

Well done also goes to Dave for winning the AFC and making it to the Bowl game again. I considered the Dolphins making the bowl game a sure thing but Dave still had to get there and make sure his team wasn't complacent. Should be a good game against the Cards. Of course, being from the NFC, I will be supporting the Cards to win...by a FG.

Well done to Greg and Jan on making the Superbowl, even more meritorious from the wild card spot. commiserations to Sam on the narrow loss, and it will seem hollow now but you ought to be congratulated on a superb season.  Looks like the game delivered on the suspense and defensive toughness, turnovers appear to be the diff between the teams.  Team Salmon seems to be on a coaching roll and i will have my work cut out for me next week.

I think the NFC playoffs have clearly shown how even it is, nearly every single game was a cracker, and it bodes well for next season.

The AFC Championship was a tough affair, although the final scoreline doesn't do justice to a fine Steeler effort.  For much of the game i felt that we kept missing our chance to nail them, and was worried of repeating our loss to the Bengals in week 1 by blowing it late.  A couple of turnovers late in the thrid quarter  finally gave us the chance to ice the game much to my relief.

The Superbowl will be a great matchup.  With the Dolphins having the extra week of rest, they should start slight favourites.  But i think the Cards are playing the much better football at the moment, the Dolphins are not firing on all cylinders.  Should be a classic.

was certainly a thriller down to the wire sam with that big 4th down conversion just before the 2 minute warning and to drive to 1st and goal from the 8 (albeit with only time for 2 plays) i read it on the vcon while jan could hear with are oh yes (when you got a offensive penalty) to oh no when i saw some of the matchups and then the final machup 2nd and 9 59:57 on the clock and the computer calls the auto D DI WC and the pause on the vcon and i say to jan well it's the last play and it can go either way then click on next play and (sigh) well we won and she says you're kidding so a great game sam and like i said earlier this is a good team and quite strong though it will be consirerably weaker next season we have 9 credits left to play out but extremeley unlikely to re new after that no matter what happens next game (though will try to leave behind a challenging gameplan)well the fins will have to start as heavy favourites and i have played fles a few times but never in basic should be fun jan said to me i might leave the last one to you but i said no as if i do it myself i will probably lose to fles anyway as he will be incredibaly tough to beat so i am not expecting to win so you might as well do it as it's whats got us this far and i would fair no better doing it myselfbut the flipside is it would be no worries if we lost to such a great coach but if we somehow pull a rabbitt out of the bag it would be better to do it together so though it will have no bearing on our decision to exit later am thrilled to have made it this far and hope to put up a tough challenge for dave and that he can at least find it challenging and fun planning for it

fitting that it went down to the wire. was always going to be a hard game considering we have already played twice this season. good to see that it was close and as much as I am annoyed to have blown a 15-1 season and home field in the championship game, your team was the rightful team to win this game. would have been an absolute joke if my cowboys won it on the last second TD on DI v WC play considering your defence had done so well up until the final minutes.

have to say that the two 4th down conversions in my last drive made me wonder what happened the previous 58 minutes. the offence was able to produce a decent drive at the end but couldn't do much for the previous 58 minutes, oh well..there's always next season.
