Hi all,

Just a quick note to say fairwell to this league for a while!  http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/blow%20kiss.gif

My "bread & butter" team resides in NFLBG (Redskins) which unfortunatley runs the same week as GB, this coupled with the fact that I want to try and cut my teeth in the Advanced game (albiet in the "lesser-established" leagues of the Advanced game) and will probably find that running 2 teams on the same deadline and trying to learn the Advanced game a tad too much or too time consuming.

I'd just like to say that I have been privilaged to be in such good company of very enthusiastic coaches who are a credit to this league and to GP as a whole, especially Sam & all the contributers to his website and postings here.

Thanks to all.............and bye for now.

rgds,

P.S a belated welcome to Tom Flesfader in Atlanta....with or without help from pops i'm sure you will fit right in and be successfull !

Sad to see you go and hopefully you find your way back some time.

have to agree that it is a bit difficult when you have multiple teams and same week deadlines can play havoc with time restraints. have three teams myself, GB and C are mine while I co-coach in the BN with Fles so that makes it easier. Two teams can be time consuming so can understand the amount of time it would take for three teams when you are the only person in charge (especially when you are thinking of the advanced version which is a lot more in depth).

Anyway, good luck with your other teams and make sure that if you  ever get the chance you make your way back to the GB.

fully understand jason sam and fles do a great job for this league and i will be leaving mid season as well it is a shame but as you guys understand i really only have time for 1 team per week and the gb only losses out because it is in the same week as the ay (which is also a great league) and my preference for advanced i was at one stage running 3 teams on that deadline with the ga cowboys as well which was my original team of 16 years (unbroken service)and it was tough to give them up but i can really only do justice to 1 team per week and the c and ay being more interactive and active coaches meaning the end for the ga and my preference for advanced over basic will be the end for the gb though it will be good to be able to follow it on the websites even áfter my retirement

great to hear!!!! will make it much more interesting in the East as well as the NFC as a whole with the defending NFC Champion being coached the entire season.

Even if it means that you will have to qualify for the playoffs as a wildcard again.

Excellent to hear you'll be hanging around in Arizona all season Greg - gives me another coached team to beat up on - LOL!

Seriously, cool to have the NFC Champ around to defend his title, looking forward to the new season already!

Cheers,

Martyn
