Congratulations once again on a comprehensive victory over my Texans! Having played you again in AR a week later and winning, it seems like my theory of why I lost was proved right. My Texans had a shedful of turnovers in C and I lost 23-3, and then you had a shedful of turnovers in AR and I won 20-7. Bizarrely, my AR Dolphins are way short of training and form whilst my Texans are on red hot form, but I think my Texans are not quite as explosive on offence as they were last season...I never felt like I was ever going to score a TD against your Rams, so I think the next few weeks with see me go back to the drawing board in C to find the secret formula to get the best out of this team...

The Bengals are basking in a suprising 33-0 victory over the Panthers. Surprising as we scored so much and conceeded nothing. Leading by a paltry 6-0 scoreline at halftime was a fair indication of the struggle in the game. Yet somehow, the Bengals exploded in the second half with some plays that struggled in the first half really coming good in the second. Have to say that their punter was attrocious so we won the field position battle nearly every time making it easier to rack up the points with the short field. Now we are up against Goz and his Chargers so the celebrating will be short lived. Hopefully I have fixed my gameplan enough over the offseason and the first few games not to be embarrassed by Goz...again. Fingers crossed we somehow get past the Chargers and the Texans slip up again to open up the race for the Central title.

Sam, It's very possible you'll get your wish and the Texans will slip up again...the last time the Texans met the Broncos was in the Divisional Round last season when they outplayed us and led 27-14 going into the final quarter...we just managed to pull it out of the bag as time expired to win 28-27, so the Broncos are one team I am definitely worried about playing..

Maybe one day I can have my Bengals performing well enough that you can worry about playing us also.... and then we might be able to beat you for once.

I look forward to it...I seem to remember the Bengals home turf being known as 'The Jungle' way back when the Bengals were last a challenger...hope you can recreate The Jungle in Cincinnati and provide some real classic AFC Central matchups between me, yourself and Chris The tougher the division, the stronger the teams that make it through to the playoffs are...bring it on!

It has been noted, Martyn! Hopefully you can do the same to the Bears today and give me a bit of breathing space at the top of the Central ... although I really must stop assuming that I'm going to beat the Panthers - my teams always seem to bomb when I get over-confident!
