Sam, the Colts gameplan is in locked away in the softsim vault. l hope someone can crack us open before the playoffs, l don't want to find out in the playoffs we are beatable. As l said off camera, Mike's Texans did something new which no one had tried and we passed the test. l hope you bring another new approach, l'd rather find out now that we have a serious leak in the boat instead of the playoffs. We fix one player this week, to give us a much needed boost our last roll of the dice to make sure we can get home field and give this superbowl a shake. Best of luck, should be a cracker.

Good luck to all other teams, two weeks to go.

Norm,

Wish I could promise a good matchup but my Bengals have been far from consistant this season, mixing up excellent results with some pretty poor performances. Our last performance against the Jags was a win, but a terrible performance which was decided on a late FG. Hopefully the offence comes to the party this week and my defence can stop the run and pass.

Might have to make a raid on the softsim site to get a look at the gameplan....

Anything can happen in football Sam, what ever happens should be a cracker, it's been so long since we have played a match, that it's all new. Bring it...

Should be interesting how the Bengals go, especially on offence as my unique mismash of an offence goes against a quality defence.

Just hoping that I somehow found a chink in the Colts armour and my Bengals perform well enough to cause an upset win.

Anything less and will be looking at a playoff exit, especially if a loss is compounded by a Browns and Dolphins victory. For and against will be crucial.

My stuttering Rams have absolutely nothing to play for, so with a possible playoff game in mind my GP this week is uber-simple to give the Skins no useful scouting. I have one line for O and one line for D and did about 30 seconds scouting! My new quick approach will probably result in my first decent performance for weeks in the C, lol!

Sam,

At the risk of being over-confident the Browns will be 11-5 and secure a WC slot. One more loss from the Bengals or Phins and we are in at 11-5 and probably 10-6. Both teams have a hard run in against the Texans and Colts and we have the Raiders and Jags and if we lose either I deserve the sack and do not deserve the WC slot. (Famous last words). It has been a great 3 way ride this season but I think the 2nd WC slot is yours or the Phins to win.

Good luck in the next 2 weeks, be nice to play again alternatively I'd love a crack at the Phins who 100% outplayed us earlier in the year.

My own tip is that the Texans or Chargers will play the Redskins in the SB.

All the best.

Chris H, you over confident, that's like me being over confident, hell it never happens.

Your tip for the AFC championship is a nice one, the Colts are underdogs, l like that slipping under the guard. l don't think l'm fouling anybody, the Colts have a big red bullseye on their butt, a bit like a buck chained and handcuffed to the toilet on a bucks night gone wrong (see "Kenny" the movie). l think we have both the Texans and the Chargers covered at the risk of being over confident if we don't make the superbowl l deserve the sack (famous last words).

lt's been a wonderful season, gameplan always gets exciting at this stage of the season.

l'd say the Browns have the wildcard spot or l'll "eat my shorts" - John Bender - breakfast club.

Chris,

Have no doubt that you will get one of the wildcard spots as you have an easier run in and should win both games, if you don't would be a massive surprise (even though if you drop both games would be a pleasant surprise for the Bengals and the Dolphins playoff hopes).

Will be a huge battle between the Dolphins and the Bengals as to who gets that final spot. Not bad considering that we both finish our regular season against the Colts and Texans. Talk about a perfect end to the regular season. The Texans haven't wrapped up the Central yet and could really damage playoff hopes for my Bengals as well as the Dolphins. The last spot could come down to for and against and the Bengals and the Dolphins have the same for and against...could it get any tighter!

Then again the Bengals and Dolphins could lose both games and another team sneaks into the playoffs.

SImply a bizare coincidence of the schedule, both having to play two of the hotest teams to prove ourselves worthy of matching it with them in the offseason.
The plan that was meant to go in last week against the bills and work the bugs out, is now going in blind against the Texans, hoping this new off plan can match it with the best offence in the league from Houston.

I hope that old saying "two heads are better than one" can help Miami prevail!

This isn't the first time we've had a number of teams all playing off against each other in the final 2 weeks for a post-season spot.  Here's what happened in the NFC last season :

'4 teams in the hunt for a wild card in the NFC :

Arizona 8-6
Chicago 7-6-1
Dallas 7-6-1
Minnesota 7-7

All 4 teams play 2 of their wild card rivals in their last 2 games, Arizona play Minnesota and Dallas, Chicago play Dallas and Minnesota, Dallas play Chicago and Arizona, and Minnesota play Arizona and Chicago...could it get any closer!?!'

Looks like the league administrators are getting their fixture lists spot on!
