Martyn, no hard feelings over that AY result. We were already out of the play-offs whether we won or lost that game - I just regret throwing away a few winnable games earlier in the season. As for C though, the Lions are out to avenge last season's tame defeat. I'd far rather have been playing the Cowboys on an extra UP (no offence, Greg), but this does give us the chance to settle some old scores! Anyway, I voted for the Rams-Lions game to give us a consolation vote. I can't believe that we were lagging behind the Bears-Redskins Pretender Bowl game. Those two have dismal records against the top teams and I've yet to be fully convinced that either of them are still coached. You mark my words - the winner of the Rams-Lions game goes to the Super Bowl! (hope I'll still be regretting that statement next week! --Last edited by Jon G on 2007-07-17 00:39:05 --

I agree Jon, I am surprised there haven't been more votes for the Rams-Lions clash as I am pretty sure the 2011 NFC champions will be the winners of this game. Hopefully they will lose to the Texans in the Superbowl!

Put it this way - I've got more confidence in us beating the Redskins or Bears than I have in us beating your Rams and I'd like to think that the Lions will be more of a test for you than either of those other losers ( --Last edited by Jon G on 2007-07-19 03:16:45 --

The gameplan is ready Jon, so let's see which team is ready to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl! I'm hoping for a repeat of last season's play off result, rather than our earlier meeting this season... May the best team and coach win!

Just entered my plan and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's a winner. Did a couple of rewrites including a last minute one this morning (was having nightmares about a potentially kamikaze line I'd put in on defence!!), so I'm hoping I managed to leave in the good parts and get rid of the crap bits rather than vice versa. Looking forward to it with some trepidation ... ![]()
