No offence to the other three teams, but we want the Rams to win the Superbowl so we get a chance to play the champs twice in our division next season. There is no point in being here if we can not pit our wits against the best.

Whether or not the Rams do win the Superbowl (and I think they have a very good chance), you and Dave will have plenty of tough competition next season with the Rams (x2), the 49ers (x2), the Lions, the Cardinals, the Cowboys, the Bengals, the Bills and (if Al is still around) the Bears on your fixture list!

Be careful what you wish for!

I think a few coaches mentioned that Alan may not be around in Chicagotown anymore. If that is the case then the Colts v Bolts get my vote. No disrespect intended Martyn...or Alan for that matter. Best of luck to ye all.....should be a cracker. http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/smile.gif

I don't think this Rams team is quite good enough yet to win it all, although we'll be weaker next season so I'll be giving it our best shot! On our side is the fact we've done very well against the top teams this year, where we've dropped games it's been against the poorer sides (apart from Jon's Lions of course).

Go Rams!  http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/thumb%20up.gif

Saved yourself at the last!  http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/smile.gif

I maintain that the Rams should definitely make the Super Bowl (especially now they've got homefield and a Chicago team on an extra UP) - hope that's not too much pressure for you, Martyn!  images/icones/icon17.gif

Once they get there, they'll probably be underdogs to the AFC representative, but only slight underdogs IMO. I know you can't simply transfer results from one league to another, but haven't you got a pretty good recent record against both Goz and Norm in AY?

Very good against Norm generally, something like 6-2 across AY and AR. With Goz it's a strange one, I've beaten him the last two times we played in AY, and he has smashed me big style the last two times in AR! Of the two in C I guess I'd rather play Norm, but I'd defo be the under dog against either IMO. But lets not get ahead of ourselves, first I have to beat a good Bears team, and if they are still coached a great Bears team!
