Firstly, may I thank everyone who took part so consistently during the season. It has been my pleasure to organise this and I hope that everyone will return to the competition next season starting in week 1, and maybe some more coaches will take part too!

I would like to give the winner some sort of reward and will arrange for 4 turnfees to be credited to their account.

So, here are the final positions (in traditional Miss World fashion) from last to first!

9th with 518pts is Colin (absent for most of the competition).

8th with 656pts is Alan. ( a late entry).

7th with 667pts is Tom (another late starter).

6th with 722pts is Beats.

5th with 728pts is Greg.

4th with 748pts is Me.

So to the top three......

3rd with 776pts is Fles.

2nd with 779pts is Alex

and our inaugural Champion Tipster is.....

1st with 783pts is Jon!!!

What a great finish to the competition, with just 7 pts separating the top three places!!

Just happy to have won something this season (although I have to admit I'd have preferred the Superbowl!). No need to transfer any credits though, Mike - the glory of victory's enough for me! Seriously, we should be sending credits to you for running the competition so well!

Thanks Jon, I had already arranged for your "prize" before seeing this message.  I am glad to offer a winners prize, it gives that little bit extra enjoyment and reward to the winner!

Well thanks for the credits then, Mike!  
But it does seem a bit unfair that you're the one organising the competition AND paying out to the winner. Perhaps next season we could all put in a credit each at the start - winner takes all (or maybe 2nd place/3rd place prizes as well). If Danny had a problem dealing with that (and I can see that it might be a bit of a pain for him), perhaps we could say the person finishing in last place pays out to the winner.

Might stop people dropping out early if nothing else!

We did the very same thing you mention in NFLBP a couple seasons back Jon, Danny had no problem he simply asked that everyone transferred their credits to one person early in the season, and that person then asked Danny to deal them out to the relevant players at the end of the year.
