Interested to see what you guys consider your no.1 player?

After very careful consideration, i have labelled the Tomahawk MVP is ....drum roll.....  SS Sammy Knight.  The guy is a ballhawk and playmaker in our secondary.  He is versatile and brings something to the table on all defensive plays and strategies.  KC certainly wants to hold onto him!

got to love a crusty old offensive lineman!!  They may be riddled with injuries but you can't do with out them!

QB Rich Gannon.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/thumb%20up.gif

Sure he throws intercepts, but he opens up everything for the raiders offence. My opinion would change if Gannon doesn't start throwing more TDs then INTs. Gannon is closely followed by CB Charles Woodson.

Hard to pick. If I stuck to giving the ball to one RB it'd be an easy choice but with a rookie and a 2nd year back there I've been spreading the carries around. Along with his pass catching ability 2nd year RB Doug Chapman is up there, but I think our crown is possibly with 6th year TE Jim Kleinsasser, not only for his run blocking but his amazing abilities downfield. He's flurished under the more run oriented gameplan.

Greg, good choice l'll be taking that one QOB and raising it by TWO DBZ squad strenghts care of my TE which as per the website gets waived this week, don't take it personal it's really for the Panthers when we meet in the Superbowl but if it helps me get revenge on the Patsies and shut out the Chiefs one more time all the better. l already have 7 form DBZ we are a blizting machine soon to be a blitzing machine gun, pass on us at your own risk.

Billy V is the Titans MVP number one quarter back in the land, yeah bady this man stands in the pocket for as long as he wants waives at his fans in the crowd and just waits for his wide outs to get open and then delivers like the surgeons knife.

For us it all starts on defence- front and centre.
Eagles most valuable player NT 10th year fit Corey Simon. We are dangling a contract extension infront of him to get him playing at his best. He plays every down and FG blocking.

A close second is 2nd round pick David Akers who has not missed a FG or extra point since highschool. With him we are able to put points on the board even when the Penguins stall on a drive. Last year the Eagles kicking game was league worst or close to, this year we haven't missed a thing. Akers is a gunner on punt coverage too, not because he is fast or a great tackler, but because has a fire inside that needs to be unleashed on the field!
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/hit%20the%20wall.gif
being merely a kicker he spends most of his time on the sideline with a clipboard and aerial photos analysing our play and getting everyone fired up!

I'll let you know the Texans MVP once I've got a few games under my belt, but great thread.

Cheers,

Greg, keep convincing yourself you can go 2-0 against the Titans, but saying that l REALLY need one loss or one close win l need a 2 LPs game so l can have my cake and eat it too.
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/smile.gif

So if you go 2-0 you will again have given me a boost as you did last season, that way l can get the two points on defence of DBZ plus others on defence as a result one is a three point player and then l can fix that offence player. So Greg, come on please give me your best shot you just might be helping me lift the superbowl trohy.

Jets MVP is HB Curtis Martin. An absolute powerhouse who's just going to keep getting better, baby he was born to run (and catch and pass block occasionally).

It's a bit of a contradiction to have a MVP when we are 1-6 but, after due consideration, the vote goes to SS Adrian Wilson, who's experience has helped an inadequate defence climb into the top 5 v the pass!
