Al's talk of his brilliant rookie KK David Akers got me thinking.  How have the rest of you guys found your rookies?  Does Norm have any rookies left at all?? While most states are strict with over 18/21 id cards to buy alcohol, they do things different down in Tennessee.  All players must carry there over 18 id cards, the stipulation is they must have played over 18 years to get a gig with the grey beards! http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/rofl.gif

Jokes aside, sorry Stormin about the Titan jibes! :-)  There has been little production from the KC first two picks, apart from the legendary Crapthonso Thorpe's punt returns.  The ral surprise packet for us has been the play of third round pick DE Jared Allen, who has been sensational.

I will be doing a mid season all rookie and all pro team, be interesting to see the team makeups for both. Any thoughts or contributions to the selection would be appreciated.

l have two one pointers l will fix one to get that DBZ squad in a week or two he might do something then. l only use rookies to waive to fix and buy veterans off free agency but you know that anyway!

Our Rookie RB Chapman is getting a fair workout and performing well. Other than that our rookie LB was excessive and I'm waiting to see what he does in the offseason before I decide his fate.

I admit drafting a kicker rather than getting a FA seems to me like a stuff up by me, but it has paid off well so far, I might regret the desicsion if he shanks a kick with a game on the line though!

Kickers and punters disagree here, my old fit kicker is a gun fingers and toes crossed he survives outright retirement he's 12 years not reduced he is worth his weight in gold very reliable. The punter 2 year old as good as he is at times he shanks em regularly but he's a 4 pointer so l hope to have him for a while but who knows.

Mine is gold too, but is not likely to survive the new season. He's been a large part of the Vikings revival.
