Interesting to see 4 fixes. Texans beef up their secondary with a rookie what the? Patriots continue on their reshaping the roster strategy a name change, Greg that won't help you win! Jets cut a rookie yeah yeah, the question is should you always keep at least two rookies on the roster to ensure you get the +1 and -1? Titans more contrvery than Prince or Darren Hinch cut their mega star 11 year old TE you cannot be serious, the guy that dropped one pass in the first game of the season and Warren Moon said Norm that bum's gotta go, l will not be passing to him again! Chargers beef up their secondary coaching DPS maybe to hold the Dolphins air attack? Cowboys fix a DB veteran to beef up the secondary should help that AGN column leaking like a fish bowl! Raiders fix a WR as if they need more DP help boo boo boo! Cardinals fix a WR jumping on the DP band wagon boo boo boo!

A quick summary sees +6 defence moves to increase defence fire power. +2 and -2 offence moves for no real change in offence fire power. What do you do build a defence to stop the offence or build an offence to move on a defence?
 http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/grumpy.gif

Texans don't know if Payne is O or D you changed the team!
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/shock.gif

l will try and knock up this on a round by round basics it will be interesting to see how coaches react and what moves they make, to shift the league to D or O.

What's your poison? Offence or Defence? Where do you see AY headed and your team or rivals?

Next year, what about now? Can that fire them up for this season? Can they win the Superbowl with this team now? To be or not to be?

THey'd have to get there first, and giving up a 6 game lead to the Chiefs in the division before Goz arrived is going to make that hard.
Currently 3 games off the pace with 8 games to play, doable but hard and they have a poor for and against, the pats colts tie helped but with games against the Dolphins Packers Raiders Texans and Chiefs it will be an impressive feat!

BTW re rookies I expect if you have 1 rookie he would stay the same, if you have 2 one up one down, 3 one up one down one same 4 2 up 2 down etc etc.
Anyone agree? The net result of having rookies on your roster is that they remain the same in strengths, this can't be said for all those old codgers on your teams Norm!

Rookies up and down stuff has got to be random. I have 4 2nd year players (and 4 rookies?!) and they are now 4*, 2, 2, 2. They could have been a number of combinations, but to me it doesn't look like any of them lost a skill.

One more fix to come to shore up a weakness.

He was the only FA DB available Norm and secondary was one of two big Texans weaknesses. Anyway, having a team of veterans only is bad news - got that from Pete himself via an email to someone else (Smug?).

However, if I'd known an older DB would appear on the list this week I would've waited!  http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/smile.gif

So many roster moves to make in Houston this team won't be "my" Texans until next season. That won't stop me kicking your vets all over the field tho Norm!!!  http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/rofl.gif

Cheers,

Martyn

Texans, keep your pecker in your pants there cowboy! We have two rookies on the roster and one is a DB, agree with your moves you have to beef up a weakness anyway you can.
