Great stuff alan, it really added some spice to draft festivities reading it like that, getting nervous as the players I wanted were taken #5, 6, 7 and 8 and I had to pick at #12!

I passed up some superior talent to take a team need, so I am hapy with the draft for Philly and I now have more cap room to play with.

Hip Hip Hooray for the techno wizardry of Uncle Alan Milnes!

Agree with you 100% there, Al - that was SO much more exciting than getting the draft results the normal way. As I got further and further down the list, I realised too late that what I was really hoping for was one of those WRs with ST skills rather than a boring 3* DB - I actually did a little air-punch when the Cowboys took the last 3* DB just before my pick! The ST strength is much needed by the Jets and the extra LPs should allow me to save a couple more of my guys from this season.

I just wish I could view the draft like this for all my teams!

Must add my big thanks too Alan, was the most enjoyable draft read ever!  Fantastic addition to the pBM tools, you should be rightfully proud of it mate! http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/blow%20kiss.gif

Although I failed miserably in my attempt to stay up and watch it unfold as it happened, I did go there fisrt thing at the office and scrolled through the picks one by one!

Big thanks to Alan for this facility from a happy Cardinal.

Nice work Alan.

Must get around to making a few of my php sites a little more neat like that. Do you use an editor or some sort for the html/css?

Does anyone have a Current roster for the NFLAY.  Joining this week means I got a schedule but no roster.

Would appreciate help from anyone to see what everyone else has got.

Thanks guys.  Much appreciated!!!  I should have also asked before but does anyone have the rosters on an EXCEL format.  I want to rank the squads and could do it very quickly if the data in already in an EXCEL format.  Will publish my rankings if I can get it.  (Manual calculations take far too long for me who is very time poor.)
The Bengals squad is VERY tasty!  I've never played with a 6 point QB before!  Alex, he is only 4 years old but I am absolutely licking my chops at the possibilities. And by comparison to others it is a pretty good squad too.  I am a bit surprised at the variation between teams.  Personally I would prefer if all teams were within a narrower band so that everyone is competing on a level playing field. FWIW I think Norman is in a bit of strife.  He shot his bolt last year in the playoffs and is now paying the price. Hopefully he can prove me wrong.

If that QB of yours is 4 years in this league he has already has 2 Superbowl rings (from sitting on the bench).
I don't have rosters in Excel, but if I have time I'll see if I can import them from a CSV for you Tom.

I realise this is somewhat cheeky (I'm basically asking someone to send Alan the info as I'm not able to), but are we having an online draft this season?

Alan will be getting the turn mere minutes after I get mine.

A 3* DB & 3* LB so far - needless to say the Packers front office is doing cartwheels!!  http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/smile.gif

Plans to move to a 3-4 may be scrapped now we have that new LB, soon to be named AJ Hawk!
