As I don't have a BQ, presumably I could just use the Jets Total Offence figures from this week's scouting report - ??

Jonothon Gick! I always suspected you had an immense intellect that we were all catching glimpses of here and there- By Joe that's a top idea, my friend. Yes please do it that way to make it easier on people who don't keep weekly stats (but really what is stopping you?) Don't forget you can get GPvCon here and a stats tracking sheet here Packers in the lead for NFC honours so far, but there should be some strong competition coming.

If only I could apply that "intellect" to winning more often in Gameplan! ![]() The thought of having to add up 14 sets of numbers must've inspired me to the heights of genius - laziness is such a great motivator! Anyway, have a good weekend people - I'm outta here!

Vinny Testaverde's stats: Int% : 3.2 TD%: 4.6 AvA: 6.7 AvC: 11.6 Comp% : 57.6 QB Rating: 80 Not bad for his first season as a starter, but I'll be expecting better from him next season!

Daunte Culpepper's Figures to date: 315/555 for 2140 yards (57%) 14 TDs, 9 Ints (5.1%, 3.3%) AvA: 7.8 AvC: 12.5 QB rating: 85.33 Though I'm not sure how accurate all this is. Another site put the rating at around 67. |

I set up my play and player stat tracking sheet in excel to autocalculate it. AFAIK it goes like this (passing percentage -30)x.05 + (average per attempt -3)x.25 + 2.375- (incerception percentage x .25) + td percentage x .2 = QB rating. IIRC I got that from NFL.com.

Don't let your franchise miss out folks! Get your stats in (although having Nick not posting Delholme gives a chance for some other NFC QBs! LOL!

Paul, The QB Rating calculator on the C website is accurate, I got the calculations from the NFL.com website. The only differences you might get in calculations may be how many decimal places they round to, or if you make the common mistake of using the wrong average gain figure. Looking at your stats, 67 looks like a very low rating for what are pretty decent stats, if I was making an estimate without a calculator based on your stats, I would've gone for around the 80-85 mark. Cheers, Mike --Last edited by MikeP on 2006-09-15 22:38:03 --

Thanks Mike. Quietly happy with the turn around with the QB production and the OL protection this season. Two things I wanted to improve badly. |

using mikes nflc website calculator got 76.83 for tom brady but it's his intangibles that keep him on the roster and alive for the pro bowl

End of season QB rating for David Carr - 99.5 Nice, especially his 2% interception rate. Still makes me laugh that after my first game in AY Norm thought turnovers would be my problem - LOL! I wonder who has the best TO differential this season... --Last edited by Martyn Williams on 2006-09-23 02:33:59 --
