I'll go first:
36 safe
65 LPs
4 retires
11 reduced
9 step losses
16 CFAs, including 5 points at QB and 5 points at HB.

My Personel manager and I have already announced that we will be expecting most players to take huge pay cuts to help fit Westbrook and McNabb under the cap, and if they don't like it they can leave and we'll use their cap room for these stars. With the 4th straight year (at least) with a retiring wide reciever Brian Westbrook will be asked to spend time both at HB and wideout this season, often on the same play.
In addition to one retirement on each side of the ball we are hopeful of keeping all but one player from each unit, to be covered by a draft that appears very strong in TE (more 1st round TEs than DBs, LBs or DLmen!) and WR (8 players better than one strength) and Kickers and punters.
Having seen the shallow nature of the QB class of this draft Eagles general manager said he wouldn't be looking for a QB this year, even if they were given away free in his Happy Meal.

I thought I would be totally butchered but I guess its similar to others. The biggest surprise was that the 2 YR old free agent receiver I picked up during the season was one of only 2 players to retire! Alex I know how it feels.

retired - 4
reduced - 19
step loss - 6
CFA - 14
safe - 36
LPs - 70

this draft does seem particularly brutal (as pete and danny promised they would be)
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/surprised.gif
my draft sheet reads
waived/retired 6 (afraid that number will have to rise)
http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/frustrated.gif
reduced 9 (not to bad) http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/thumb%20up.gif
step losses 10   http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/blue.gif
CFA's  13    http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/blue.gif
safe 40 (though will probably fall as the waive/retire grows) http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/thumb%20down.gif
LP's 57 http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/grumpy.gif
probably what to expect in line with others   http://www.users.on.net/~acoombe/grumpy.gif
but i would like a few more

Here are the Falcons draft cull results:
8 retired (yikes the worst yet)
16 reduced
6 step losses (1 is punter)
12 CFA's (2 Special Teams strengths means only 10 to fix)
42 Safe (The best yet - showing the strength of Falcons squad!)
73 LP's (Not too bad)

100 LP's needed to fix all my step losses and CFA's with 73LP's compensation, that doesn't sound too bad.

My new signings will counter the 8 lost on retirement, so the squad's getting worse due to the number of reduced. This is bound to happen though with the GM wanting to reduce the squad sizes for the good of all.

Really we can't get too upset about this, once the squad sizes are reduced it will be a better game for us all.

Alan

Speaking as someone looking at your current roster looking for nonexistant holes (in prep for our game) I must say your roster is the envy of the league, its huge. After 8 retirements it will still be one of the biggest I'd say!?

Holes you won't find any holes in the Falcons roster. Talking of which if we're going to get some talk going about next weeks game i'm going to set up a separate thread.

In Houston...

Ret - 3
Red - 18
SL - 8
CFA - 14
Safe - 32
LPs - 88

Not too bad really, even trading down for LPs I'll have to make one or two tough decisions on SLs but I've worked out enough of my off season strategy to know my Texans will still have a strong squad next season. Really hoping I get my first or second draft choice as there is a very specific type of player I want...

Know what you mean martyn, my offseason strategy revolves around getting exactly who I want in rounds one and two, Rnd 1 might work, but Rnd 2 want is a dream.

In NY, the figures are

Ret - 6
Red - 5
SL - 6
CFA - 14
Safe - 45
LPs - 30

So we're basically 100 LPs short of fixing all SL's and CFA's!

Looks like we're really being punished for our lack of reductions and high level of Safe players. We're obviously going to have a lot of chopping and changing to do, but I think I know the direction I want to go in. The low number of reductions does give us an opportunity to bring in a few free agents without hurting the Form totals too much, but I'm hoping to see a few quality additions to the FA list, as it doesn't look that great at the moment!

Re Tom's point about his FA WR retiring, the same thing happened to me last season (although I think mine had a couple more years on him). And this season, ALL my WRs have picked up Step Losses (which Graham hints may have happened to his team as well). Do Pete & Danny not like receivers or something? Too much exposure to TO perhaps!!

On the plus side Jon with so few Reductions all these guys are gonna be Squad next year, as oposed to say Nick who has about 4X as many reductions as you, that's a lot of form points in Carolina.

I know what you mean about WR, when we look at rosters these days it seems if you are lucky you get 1 guy in each position who might escape the culling effects, I always seem to have a CFA a reduction and a couple of SLs at each position, god I love rookies they get better! Of my 2 3 point OL rookie one stepped up so I am happy to say if the Birds could run this year that's nothing to what we'll do next year with a 16 point line and a step gain at RB too, , , now just to find a way to keep them all!
