Considering how many games have been decided by exactly 3 points for me this year, and the fact that I think I've attempted more FGs than anyone else (and 2nd to KC for 3 pointers) I'd have to name my kicker David Akers.
With 1934 yards from scrimmage 2nd would have to be Mr Twinkletoes Brian Westbrook.

Not an easy selection for the Chiefs. Probably comes down between 4  players for me.  Perennial stars TE Tony Gonzalez and HB Priest Holmes are in the mix as per usual, but SS Sammy Knight has been outstanding. Like you Al, i think the gong for us at this stage goes to the Kicker. Rookie Lawrence Tynes is 38 of 40 FG's and perfect on PAT's after week 15. Certainly the best production i have had from a rookie for some time, and he has won me a few games including a monster 50yder at Foxborough. Having said that this could all change come after the playoffs. lol

i'd have to saybig ol #72 matt light at LT he's managed to make the patriots the #1 (so far)running team in the league while also protecting tom brady very well with only a 6.6% chance of being sacked

A couple of contenders in Arizona:-

Matt Leinart - 44TDS,  20INTS,  AVG 268YDS Per Game.

Edgerrin James - 295 carries for 1,115yds, Avg 3.78 per carry.

The 49er run game would have to be the MVP. Can't name which specific player as don't have the season stats for the individuals but averaging 138 yards a game looks good.

Just beat out the PN who on 73 punts had a net average of 42.8 yards a kick which is pretty good.

For the Jets, it has to be Vinny Testaverde.  He completed 257 of 435 passes (59%) for 3962 yards, with 33 TDs and only 12 INTs for a QB rating of 103. Of course that's partly due to the protection he received and his many receiving options, but it was still his arm that made it happen!

Hopefully he can do even better for us next season, although it looks like we'll have to pay through the nose to keep him!

As voted by the fans in an online poll, the Bears player of the season is inside linebacker Brian Urlacher. At the heart of everything, breaking up running plays and forcing incompletions, Brian also found time to force more than half of the team's 30 (ranked 6th) fumbles, and even helped himself to a handful of interceptions.
